Welcome to Honors English 2. This year, we will journey through time studying a variety of fiction, nonfiction, and media focused on the theme of journeys. In addition to reading, we will write extensively using a variety of styles and formats. Students will also be introduced to four tests which will play a significant role in their futures - the SAT, ACT, OGT, and Literature and Composition AP test.
Books to Purchase
Students need to purchase the following books for the first semester:

I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou (begin reading Oct. 27)
For the second semester, students will purchase 2 choice books based on the following list:
