  • Wrestling Information 2016 - 2017

     Wrestling kick off meeting for youth, middle and high school wrestlers

    Youth, Middle and High school wrestling parents meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 19th in the Riverside Lecture Hall at Riverside High School from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm.

    If you participated last year or are new and interested in wrestling this year, we encourage you to attend this informational meeting. We plan to introduce all the (Youth, Middle and High School) coaches for the up-coming season and will answer questions around the (Youth, Middle & High School ) programs. Schedules and forms will also be available.

    For parents that are new to the sport of wrestling, especailly boy’s or girls K – 6th grade looking to start out in the youth program. This meeting well help answer questions and clarify a lot of mis-information that seem to always surround the sport.

    The cost of the Youth Program is $125.00 for 1 child, $175.00 for 2 children or $ 190.00 max for a family.

    ****Our Youth Program will have an early bird sign-up at the October 19th  meeting.

                $ 100.00 per child , $ 135.00 for 2 Children or $175.00 Max for a family.

    After the meeting, October 19th the cost will return to normal fees.

  • The Wrestling Club Goals

    Raising enough cash to reduce the cost to pay to participate in the High school and Middle school level, fund travel and food expenses for High school and Middle school. Replace old uniforms for our youth program and fund a wrestling camp in the summer.  Cover any assistant or volunteer’s costs attending school meets and state tournament. Provide support where needed to help foster a positive experience in Wrestling.


    We currently have a few projects planned or already in the works. 

    1)      Casino Bus Trips   TBD

    2)      3nd Annual Nights at the Races  TBD

    3)      Riverside Rumble Tournament     Dec 9,10

    4)      Review options to host a Middle School Sectional qualifier or bring LaMuth Tournament back

    5)      Continue to run a youth wrestling program K-6
