If you experience any technical issues with your Chromebook device during this Online Instruction period, we have put the following protocols in place to help assist you during this time.
E-Mail for Tech Support
If you experience any issues with your Chromebook, your first step will be to e-mail email@example.com from your ‘riversideschools.net’ email address. You must provide your name, phone number, student e-mail address, a description of the issue and how long the issue has been happening.
If your issue cannot be solved remotely by an IT technician via e-mail, your Chromebook may need to be dropped off for repair. We will have an IT technician scheduled to accommodate drop-offs and pick-ups Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The drop-off and pick-up location for ALL repairs will be at Riverside High School, outside the Media Center, located behind the Transportation Garage in between John R. Williams and Riverside High School.
This Chromebook Repair Form will need to be printed, filled out and dropped off with the Chromebook. If you do not have access to a printer, the forms will also be available at the drop-off. The District will have an IT technician working on repairs Monday through Friday. You will be notified by e-mail once your Chromebook is fixed and ready for pick-up. If available, a loaner Chromebook may be provided when dropping off the broken Chromebook.
