The Backpack Fund is partnering with the Riverside community to support students across the District.
The Backpack Fund is a charity created by four 2018 Riverside High School graduates to ensure Riverside students have access to school supplies and scholarships.

The Backpack Fund is currently accepting donations that go toward school supplies for children in need and scholarships for students.
They have also established The Emily Ringler Memorial Scholarship, which is in honor of the late Emily Ringler, a 2017 Riverside High School graduate, and a beloved daughter, sister and friend.
All 2020 graduates who are attending a 2 or 4-year college during the fall of 2020 semester are eligible to receive the scholarship. The deadline for submission of the scholarship application is August 14.
