Lake County Spelling Bee winner

Congratulations to LaMuth Middle School sixth grader Alicia Elyassi for winning the Lake County Spelling Bee on February 5 at Auburn Career Center. Alicia represented Riverside at the Lake County Spelling Bee after she won the District Spelling Bee on January 29. She finished in third place at the Tri-County Spelling Bee on March 10.

The District Spelling Bee is a contest between the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade spelling champs. Hannah Bauer finished in second place.
