Federal meal waivers from the USDA for the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs that have been in place during the COVID-19 pandemic have expired.
What does this mean for Parents & Guardians?
- Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, students will no longer receive breakfast and lunch at no cost unless they qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
- Your student must be eligible for free or reduced-price meals, either through direct certification or a completed free or reduced-price meal application. The electronic application version, which is the most efficient way to apply, can be found in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you need a paper copy you will need to contact the Nutrition Services office at 440.358.8212.
- If your student previously was eligible, either by direct certification or an application, that status carries over for the first 30 days of the new school year. If you have questions or would like to know your student’s status please contact the Nutrition Services department.
- Please work with your younger student on their PIN (Student ID Number) and remind them that they will need to enter it into the pin pad at lunch time.
Below is the meal pricing for next school year. We accept online payments through your parent portal, and checks or cash at the register. We do not recommend sending cash with younger students as it can get misplaced or not make its way to the cafeteria. We are not responsible for lost or stolen money that does not get applied to a student’s account.
Pricing for the 2022-2023 SY | Breakfast | Lunch |
K-5 | $2.00 | $3.00 |
6-12 | $2.50 | $3.75 |
If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to the Nutrition Services office.
