EDIT: The Executive Summary of the Facilities Feedback Survey can be seen
HERE.
The District has been hard at work on creating a new Facilities Plan for both immediate needs, and long-term needs. Throughout the past several months, we have hosted a handful of public focus groups featuring both parents and community members to gain their thoughts, feedback and input regarding the future of the Riverside Local School District.
For those who were unable to attend these meetings, please watch
THIS VIDEO that will walk you through the two key parts of our Facilities Plan, which addresses the immediate needs we are facing, as well as the District’s long-term needs.
After watching the video linked above, we ask that you please take a few minutes to complete
THIS FEEDBACK FORM, which will close Sunday, September 22, 2024. Your input will help guide the District in making decisions that best serve our students and community members.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback.
UPDATE:
On September 26th, the Board voted to move forward with an eight-classroom addition at Riverview Elementary School. Over the course of the next few months, the District and the Board will publish a request for qualifications for a design professional and a construction manager at risk to further this process.
The District will continue to host long term Facility Meetings as we develop the vision for the district moving forward including one meeting at Buckeye Elementary at 7 p.m. on October 14 and another meeting at Melridge Elementary at 6 p.m. on October 22. Anyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
