The Assistant Superintendent serves as a key executive leader of the Riverside Local School District and acts as a strategic partner to the Superintendent in advancing the district’s mission, vision, and goals. This position provides districtwide leadership across Curriculum, Instruction, and Teaching & Learning as well as Operations and Organizational Systems, ensuring alignment between educational priorities and operational effectiveness.
The Assistant Superintendent oversees curriculum development, professional learning, and instructional technology while also providing leadership in personnel administration, compliance, facilities, labor relations, and district operations. This role collaborates closely with the Treasurer/CFO, Executive Director of Student Services, principals, directors, and community stakeholders to advance the district’s Strategic Plan and Continuous Improvement Plan.
