I invite you to join me on a magical journey in which you learn what it is like to live life as a writer. In your special writer's notebook with your special pen, you will jot down experiences, observations, and things you hear or read, and think to yourself...I should write about this! Each day you will practice writing about topics you have chosen that are important to you. I will help you learn how to write and improve your writing as we sit together each week, just the two of us, talking about your goals and future plans as a writer. You will also have a writing partner with whom you can discuss ideas and share your writing. You will explore new genres or styles of writing every six weeks. At the end of each, there will be a celebration or "Publishing Party" where you get to share your final piece with an audience. You will also get to take home your writing at this time. It really will be quite magical to see the wonderful writer you have become. Your family will be so proud!
